hello everyone i had
a difficult time with my ring
first generation sensors and
unfortunately there was no videos
on youtube or anywhere else so i decided
to make one myself after i figured it
out
so if you have trouble with your ring
sensor and if you’ve already
tried the uh troubleshooting and taking
the battery in and out and
uh trying everything and nothing has
worked this is what you do
this is a factory reset what you want to
do is
push this button down right over here
we’re going to hold that down for about
20 seconds
and this is critical as you’re holding
this down
once you hit that 20 second mark you’re
going to remove the battery
so we’ll move this out of the way
and it’s very important that you
continue pushing
pencil down and it could be anything
else you can use a knife your finger
whatever
just hold it hold it down after 20
seconds remove the battery
now hold that for another 10 seconds
okay now we’re going to go ahead and
insert the battery back in
but it’s very important that you
continue holding the pencil down because
if you let go it’s not going to work
so here we go putting the battery back
in as i’m holding
the pencil down
okay here we go
now you see all those flashes once it
stops flashing we’re going to let go of
the pencil
all right that’s it and that’s how you
reset it
so now you can go ahead and try to go
back on to your app and try to add that
sensor into your system good luck
